Noise of Art – 100 Years of electronic music at The End Festival

Noise of Art’s continues its celebration of 100 years of electronic music in November by linking up with leftfield music craftspeople The Local for their Crouch End based festival The End and local electronic pioneer Si Begg.
The festival honours Crouch End‘s musical talent and less than obvious international touring acts, so Noise of Art has naturally invited local electronic pioneer Si Begg to spin a straight forward DJ set – which, for anyone that knows Si, is sure to be anything other than straight forward.
This month dance music bible Mixmag said this about Si: “Over nearly two decades, Si Begg has been a pioneer and genre-mangler, having rocked the techno world, turned the breaks scene inside out, pre-empted ‘future garage’ by a decade, torn up dubstep and ambient and been a vital part of Tony Thorpe’s Studio Rockers setup.”
Seems like the right Crouch End local for the 100 years celebration then.
He’ll join Noise of Art founder Ben Osborne on decks.
