Noisy pots – kahn
Noisy Pots have released the video for their single ‘Khan’ exclusively though Noise of Art. Noisy Pots, one of our European guests unable to join us live this year because of COVID., are at the forefront of the new wave of diverse independent acts currently bubbling out of the Czech Republic. Formed by Michal Supak and Jakub Tengler, Noisy Pots come from classical and jazz backgrounds, but have focused on electronic music. The band started out by making electro music out of kitchen utensils – hence their name. And their live set-up still features pots and pans. The new single is the prolific band’s sixth release in 2020 and features Tanita, whose feisty vocals are influenced by Grime and her Bulgarian roots. Mythic motives drawn from Bulgarian history inform the video and Tanita’s rap invokes a clash between two imagined warriors. The music video is directed by Oliver Beaujard and Nina Zardalishvili of Bao-bab Studios. The Noisy Pots live show featured in the online Vienna Waves Festival in Austria. We will broadcast the exclusive UK premier of the show, alongside a performance by Red Snapper live at the Riverside, for Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music.
