Woodbridge Festival of Art Music Live In Lockdown Part 1

Woodbridge Festival of Art Music Live In Lockdown Part 1

Lockdown online festival programme featuring a specially recorded exclusive track by Red Snapper written for Noise of Art by the band in isolation from each other in Lockdown, plus live sets by Leee John Imagination – credited by Frankie Knuckles for releasing the first house track in 1981(see separate Leee John film) and local Suffolk acts J.S & The Lockerbillies andPeter Hepworth plus festival host DJ Ben Osborne and Bratri live from Prague.

We filmed the shows during lockdown at real Woodbridge festival partner venues, including The Tea Hut, The Table, The East Coast Diner, Elmhurst Park and The Riverside.

We also have a tribute to UK hip hop pioneer TY, who played the festival in 2014 and who has sadly passed after contracting COVID-19.

We are raising funds for Save Our Venues and we talk to Mark Davyd, co-founder of Music Venue’s Trust, about his amazing work helping venues to survive then COVID-19 crisis. Surely not long until he starts swatting away the knighthoods…

We are also encouraging anyone who has valued the Riverside’s contribution to culture in Woodbridge over the last 100 years to donate to help it survive the crisis.

All our videos are free to watch but to help us to save the future of music venues across the UK by donating anything you can to support Save Our Venues – for further info on how you can get involved click here: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/save-our-venues-national-campaign We hope you enjoy this very special exclusive one off live event coming this Sunday 2nd August, 2020: https://www.woodbridgefestival.com/ or https://www.noiseofart.org/ #saveourvenues
