Chris Coco Mix Marks Noise of Art’s 15th
Tune into Chris Coco’s exclusive mix for Noise of Art in the run up to our first event marking 15 years since we launched Noise of Art with an official week of parties across London in conjunction with The Tate and BFI Southbank in 2006.
On Sunday 25 April DJs Chris Coco and Ben Osborne will mark Noise of Art’s 15th year with the start of a summer of Sunday afternoon and sunset sessions at The Boathouse as part of Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music.
Chris and Ben have collaborated for two decades and, amongst the many other collaborations, their mutual love of music and art has been significant in Noise of Art’s story. Enjoy the mix and here’s the details for this weekend (although the event sold out as soon as we announced it).

Sunday 25 April sees the of launch a new season of DJ sets by the water with Chris Coco (The Chill Out Tent) joining resident Ben Osborne (Noise of Art) at Woodbridge’s much anticipated new bar and restaurant The Boathouse, 15 years after they played together to launch Noise of Art at The Tate and BFI in April 2006.
Chris Coco is an international DJ and producer, writer and radio presenter who’s played every continent except Antarctica. A White Isle favourite, he’s played all the major clubs in Ibiza, and major festivals including Glastonbury, Roskilde, Big Chill and Bestival. Whether he’s spinning a club set of classic and future house; getting weird in a back room or poolside with dub disco and Balearic, opening for Robbie Williams’ world tour; or masterfully soundtracking an Ibiza sunset, there are few DJs who have his breadth of musical knowledge and obsession with finding the perfect track to make every moment feel special.
DJ Ben Osborne is described as a “polymath” by Time Out. He’s an award winning creative producer and founder of Noise of Art (“an actual Cathedral of Sound” The Guardian). He DJs internationally at festivals, including Glastonbury, Sonar, Big Chill, Chateau Perché and Latitude. His career includes pioneering late night music events in art institutions in London and DJ residencies in clubs across Europe. He’s worked with diverse acts such as Groove Armada, Booka Shade, Gilles Peterson, Ashley Beedle, Laurent Garnier, Leee John of Imagination, Horse Meat Disco DJs, Andrew Weatherall, Danny Rampling, Justin Robertson, Martyn Ware (Heaven 17/ Human League), Red Snapper and many more. He’s also a journalist and author and has presented shows on Xfm, NME Radio and Slack City Radio.
Sun Deck Sundays is a twice monthly afternoon into sunset music session on the shores of the River Deben in partnership between The Boathouse Bar & Kitchen and Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music.
